Uni DERITEND Ltd. is India’s Leading &forerunner in the manufacture of Investment Castings (Lost Wax Process). As the Largest & Technically advanced, our plants have adopted to flexibility to align and meet varied demands of market and has to its credit for developing & supplying over 15,000 types of different near net shaped parts to almost every conceivable engineering application in over 225 alloys to a host of different industries. Established in 1974, UniDeritend is India's largest manufacturer of air-melt Investment Castings (Lost Wax Process).

The company is now in its fourth decade of manufacturing ferrous &non ferrousinvestment castings.

UniDeritend has three manufacturing facilities, with India's first Robotic Shelling System installed at our state of the art Nasik plant. All three units have a collective capacity to produce over 3000 tons of investment castings per year. It has the highest production capacity in India and exports more than 40% of its output to various countries worldwide.


1974 Collaboration with Deritend Precision Casting Limited U.K.
1977 Thane Plant commenced Manufacturing.
1986 Maneck Nagar Plant commenced Manufacturing
1991 Approval in accordance with AD Merkblatt WO/ TRD 100 was obtained from TUV CERT
1994 Accredition to ISO 9002 Quality System from TUV CERT
1994 CAD/ CAM systems installed at the Thane Plant.
1996 Expansion of Maneck Nagar plant. Carried out with the addition of 20,000 sq. ft area & Controlled Atmosphere Heat Treatment Furnace set up installed.
2002 Introduction of Standard Room equipped with CMM, Profile Projector, Electronic Height Gauge, Surface Testing Equipment, Comparators, etc.
2002 Successfully finished 25 Years of Delivery.
2005 Nasik Plant commenced Manufacturing.
2005 Joint Venture with FIE Group - Netmech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. enable UDL to deliver finished components timely at most competitive prices
2007 Modernization of the Heat Treatment plants. Enhanced capacity at both Maneck Nagar & Nasik plants by 35% & 40% respectively by adding new machineries.
2008 Set up in house CNC machining facilities with state of the art VMCs, HMCs etc. along with computerized CMM
2010 Set up dedicated marketing & central admin office

European Export Office

Uni Deritend Limited (UDL) has announced the establishment of a new division that will be based in the UK to service the growth in export sales.

Uni Deritend Europe (UDE) and will be based in North Wales and operate from UDL subsidiary company Tritech Groups’ Wrexham office and new Customer Logistics Centre, Wrexham Industrial Estate.

UDL overseas customers have grown in different time zones and dedicated UK based support staff will prove beneficial in keeping communications as flowing. As email exchanges increase so does the demand to respond and acknowledge information exchanges quickly. Customer service is as important in business today as it has ever been, so dedicated UK staff is a logical development to support customers.

To support customers with Inventory Management, one primary focus for UDE is the holding of buffer stock of items cast and machined in UDL plants in India. As demands from OEMs calls for JIT deliveries, UDE operate a system to hold an agreed volume of buffer stock and manage the levels internally, taking away the headache for the customer of long term order planning, expediting, logistics and high inventory costs. Finished castings can be delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to suit customers MRP demand.

Tritech Group was acquired in 2011 by UDL, the sale was completed in April 2014 and Tritech Group is now wholly owned by UDL. Both companies are part on the Mumbia based Neterwala Group. The establishment of UDE will support the growing commercial customer base that both UDL and Tritech Group has in the Oil & Gas, Automotive, Nuclear Power, Medical, Mining and Engineering sectors.
